I recently purchased a SONY VAIO S series laptop and I am a bit ambiguous on which "mode" I should have it on. I remember the sales person told me there's a difference but I can't remember which one I should have it on if I am just checking

I don't own a Vaio, but I'm guessing that those those are actually power modes that allow you to occupation off between performance and battery life. Stamina mode most likely preserves battery
